Integrative taxonomy (morphology and genetics) of freshwater fishes, systematics and conservation.

Dr Tholoana Ntokoane’s research interest involve the use an integrative taxonomic approach, combining both morphological and genetic evidence, to understand the taxonomy and diversity of freshwater fish species such as the yellowfishes and chiselmouth (Labeobarbus).
