The National Research Foundation – South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (NRF-SAIAB) hereby invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit bids for the establishment of a Panel of Temporary and Project-Based Support Services.
Bid Description
The purpose of this bid is to appoint a panel of service providers to render temporary and project-based support services on an as-and-when-required basis for the following departments:
- Information Technology (IT)
- Human Resources
- Communication
- General Administration
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Finance
- Supply Chain Management
- Facilities Management
- Housekeeping
Appointment to the panel does not guarantee work. Services will be allocated based on operational requirements.
Compulsory Briefing Session
A compulsory briefing session will be held as follows:
- Date: 12 February 2026
- Time: 14h00
- Venue: NRF-SAIAB,11 Somerset Street, Makhanda
Attendance of the compulsory briefing session is mandatory. Failure to attend will result in disqualification.

Bidders are required to download the RFQ document directly from the website.
Closing Date
Completed bid submissions must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the bid document and must be received by 27 February 2026 at 11h00.Late submissions will not be accepted.
