Join the Science for Society Lecture, jointly organised by NRF-SAEON and NRF-SAIAB. This event will feature a panel discussion with researchers from NRF-SAEON (Drs. Mary-Jane Bopape and Warren Joubert); NRF-SAIAB (Profs. Albert Chakona and Francesca Porri); the Wits Sustainable Global Institute (Prof. Francois Engelbrech), and the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) (Dr. Paola Formentii), as they explore the theme of conducting science for the benefit of society.
The keynote presentation, titled “Improving our Knowledge Impact through Engaged Research: Fact or Fiction?” will be delivered by NRF-SAEON’s Susan Janse van Rensburg. The session will be facilitated by Dr. Marliese Truter, Postdoctoral Researcher at NRF-SAIAB.
