The South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB) is looking for a service provider to initially provide minor refurbishments to its storage unit in Durban, KZN. Refurbishments requirements include, floor leveling of the storage units 55 sq.m floor, cleaning, plastering where necessary and painting of the storage walls ( ~ 98,34 sq. M) , installation of four 50cm x 50cm burglar guards on to the windows, adaptation of the current electrical system to suit SAIABs requirements, decommissioning of the toilet and associated piping. Full details of work required under the “Detailed Specifications” section of this bid.
Thereafter, the service provider may be required for other minor refurbishments and/or other work related to the functionality of the storage unit. This work may include installation of security systems and adaptation of certain areas in the storage to suit SAIABs needs.
